FFGR Belgium places Michelin-calibre private chefs at residences, hotel suites, and corporate venues across Brussels and Belgium. Intimate dinners to 50+ guests. From €380 per evening. Minimum 5 days notice.
Belgium holds more Michelin stars per capita than any other country in the world. The culinary density is extraordinary — and largely invisible to visitors who restrict themselves to the tourist circuits. FFGR Belgium's private chef service connects clients with professionals from within that world: chefs who have held or currently hold Michelin recognition, and who are available for private commissions at residences, hotel suites, château rentals, and corporate venues.
The private chef placement begins with a consultation. We discuss the occasion — intimate dinner for six, board dinner for fourteen, diplomatic reception for forty — the dietary parameters, the desired register (modern Belgian, classical French, Japanese omakase), and the wine philosophy. From that conversation, we propose a specific chef and a preliminary menu concept. You review, adjust, confirm.
On the evening itself, the chef arrives with a full brigade appropriate to the scale of the event. They take control of the kitchen entirely: sourcing, preparation, execution, presentation, and clean-up. Your role is to be present. A sommelier from our network can be added to the event for wine selection and service; a maître d'hôtel for formal service choreography; a mixologist for a pre-dinner cocktail reception.
Private chef placement at a Brussels residence or hotel suite starts at €380 for a four-course dinner for up to six guests, inclusive of the chef's coordination fee and travel. For larger events (10 to 50 guests), pricing is constructed per head based on complexity. Château weekends with a chef in residence — two dinners, a breakfast, a lunch — are a particular speciality: the combination of private estate accommodation, Rolls-Royce transfers from Brussels, and kitchen-table access to a serious chef constitutes a singular experience.
Minimum notice for chef placement is 5 days. For events requiring specific seasonal ingredients or a chef of specific acclaim, we recommend 2 weeks minimum. FFGR Belgium's culinary network extends across Brussels, Ghent, Bruges, Liège, and the Ardennes.
