The three sites we serve
NATO Headquarters
The Alliance headquarters sits on the northern edge of Brussels, ten minutes from Brussels Airport in ordinary traffic and considerably more during Alliance events. Access is controlled at the perimeter and vehicles without a pass are turned at the outer gate, not at the building.
SHAPE
Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe is 65 km south of Brussels, roughly one hour by motorway outside peak periods. It is a working military installation with a residential community around it, and the approach differs entirely from a city assignment.
NSPA
The NATO Support and Procurement Agency sits west of Luxembourg City, about two and a half hours from Brussels. Assignments here are usually full day or overnight rather than point to point, and cross a national border.
What actually decides the day
An institutional movement rarely fails on the driving. It fails on a deadline nobody flagged, a closure nobody saw, or a vehicle nobody registered.
Accreditation runs on its own clock
Vehicle and driver details are submitted ahead of an accredited movement, and the window closes well before the day itself. A vehicle substituted at the last minute is a vehicle without a pass. We fix the registration and the driver early, and we tell you the cut-off rather than discovering it with you.
Summit weeks change the map
During Alliance events the road pattern around Evere and the Schuman axis is redrawn, with closures that do not appear on navigation apps until they are already in force. Our operations desk tracks the published measures and the ones announced on the morning itself, and re-plans the approach rather than the destination.
A delegation is a convoy, not a car
Principal, staff, luggage and sometimes an escort move as one unit and arrive as one unit. That means matched vehicles, a lead driver who holds the running order, a single point of contact, and a fallback plan for the vehicle that gets held at a checkpoint.
Discretion is operational, not decorative
Our chauffeurs do not discuss passengers, itineraries or destinations, with anyone, during or after an assignment. Vehicles carry no external marking that identifies the client. Where close protection accompanies a movement, the agents are not photographed and their faces do not appear in any of our published material.
Questions we are asked
Do you serve NATO Headquarters in Evere?
Yes. FFGR Belgium coordinates ground movements to and from NATO Headquarters on Boulevard Léopold III in Evere, including airport arrivals, inter-site transfers and delegation convoys. Access to the site itself is granted by NATO, not by us: we handle the approach, the timing and the vehicle documentation, and we work to the accreditation deadlines you are given.
Can you cover SHAPE at Casteau near Mons?
Yes. SHAPE is roughly 65 km south of Brussels, about one hour by motorway outside peak periods. We treat Brussels Airport to Casteau as a single planned leg with a defined arrival window rather than as a city transfer, and we plan the return the same way.
How far in advance should a NATO assignment be booked?
For a standard transfer, the usual notice applies. For anything requiring vehicle or driver accreditation, or for any movement during an Alliance event week, book as early as you can: the constraint is not our availability, it is the accreditation window, which closes days before the movement.
Can close protection accompany a NATO movement?
Executive protection is arranged through licensed operators in our Belgian network, under the Belgian private security framework. The scope, the number of agents and the equipment are defined with you before the assignment, and the arrangement is confirmed in writing.
What happens if a road is closed on the day?
Our operations desk holds alternative approaches for each site and re-plans in real time. The chauffeur is briefed on the fallback before departure, so a closure changes the route without changing the arrival time you were given.

We come back with the approach, the timing and the accreditation deadline that applies to your movement. Every assignment is quoted individually.
