Brussels Airport operates two primary facilities for private and business aviation clients: the Northgate FBO (Fixed Base Operator) terminal on the northern perimeter of Brussels Airport (BRU), and Brussels Jet Center, one of the largest FBO facilities in the Benelux. Both offer direct aircraft ramp access, private lounges, catering coordination, and expedited customs and immigration for arriving charter and owner-operator flights.
FFGR Belgium maintains standing relationships with the operations teams at both facilities, allowing genuine curb-to-gate and gate-to-curb service rather than the improvised arrangements that result from ad-hoc booking.
**How It Works**
When a client's aircraft is inbound to Brussels, our coordination team monitors the flight in real time via FlightAware or equivalent. Arrival time predictions are used to position the vehicle — typically a Rolls-Royce Phantom or Cullinan — at the airside ramp or FBO entrance at the precise moment the client steps off the aircraft. There is no waiting room, no queue, no immigration line for appropriately processed arrivals.
For departures, the client travels in the vehicle to the FBO entrance, where our chauffeur coordinates with the FBO handler for baggage transfer to the aircraft. The client enters the private lounge, completes departure formalities at leisure, and boards when ready. The entire process is designed so the client's experience is continuous and private from their Brussels hotel door to their aircraft seat.
**Multi-Leg Coordination**
For clients arriving on one aircraft and departing on another — a helicopter transfer to Liège for an industrial visit, for example, or a charter connection — FFGR Belgium manages the intermediate ground transport and provides a consistent point of contact throughout. Our concierge team coordinates helicopter pads (Brussels Heliport, Gosselies near Charleroi), hangar arrangements, and fuel stops on extended multi-city programmes.
**Brussels-South Charleroi**
Brussels-South Charleroi Airport (CRL) serves a growing number of private operators who prefer the airport's streamlined operations and shorter taxi times to Charleroi's business community. FFGR Belgium operates the 60-kilometre Brussels city centre–Charleroi FBO route in approximately 45 minutes.
