Bark Air offers luxury cabin pet travel on transatlantic and European routes. FFGR Belgium coordinates the complete ground programme: door-to-door pickup with your pet in the vehicle cabin, private terminal transfers, and destination ground reception.
Bark Air — the pet-first luxury airline that pioneered cabin travel for dogs on transatlantic routes — represents a fundamentally different approach to pet transportation. Instead of the cargo hold, dogs travel in the cabin. Instead of the check-in queue, owners and pets have a separate, calm boarding process. Instead of anxiety and separation, the journey is simply a shared experience.
FFGR Belgium provides the ground transportation component of Bark Air programmes for Belgian and Benelux clients. This means: your pet travels in the vehicle cabin alongside you (never in the boot), the vehicle is prepared with the appropriate amenities (travel blanket, bottled water for the dog, confirmed temperature), and the transfer route is planned to minimise travel stress — no aggressive highway driving, smooth braking, direct routing.
The private terminal access at Brussels Airport (BRU) is central to the Bark Air Belgium ground programme. Our clients bypass the main terminal entirely, transferring to the Abelag Aviation FBO or the Luxaviation private terminal, where the Bark Air check-in process takes place in a calm, uncrowded environment appropriate for animals. FFGR Belgium coordinates with the FBO ground handlers to ensure the vehicle positions within metres of the terminal entrance.
For clients receiving pets at destination airports outside Belgium — returning from New York, Los Angeles, Miami, or European Bark Air routes — FFGR Belgium coordinates the return ground transfer with the same preparation: temperature-appropriate vehicle configuration, direct routing to the client's home address, and a 15-minute standing window to accommodate the pace of pet disembarkation.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan — our most spacious SUV — is the preferred vehicle for Bark Air Belgium ground transfers. The elevated cabin, the rear access, and the exceptional noise isolation make it the most comfortable environment for dogs travelling by ground. For larger dogs, the Cullinan's rear cabin can be configured to remove the traditional seat centre console arrangement.
Belgium's veterinary infrastructure is also relevant here: FFGR Belgium's concierge team maintains relationships with specialist veterinary services at Brussels Airport for health certificate coordination, and with the FVO (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain) for import/export documentation when required.
