The Rolls-Royce Dawn — the only open-top Rolls-Royce in production — is available for summer hire in Belgium. Seasonal programmes from late April through September.
The Rolls-Royce Dawn occupies a specific role in the FFGR Belgium fleet that no other vehicle replicates: it is a cabriolet — a genuine open-top grand tourisme — in a fleet otherwise composed of closed sedans and SUVs. The Dawn's 22-second acoustic soft-top (constructed from eight layers of insulation) opens and closes at speeds up to 50km/h, and the vehicle's 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V12, producing 563 horsepower, delivers the characteristic Rolls-Royce combination of absolute torque and total silence — except when the top is down, at which point the theatre changes entirely.
The Dawn is available seasonally from late April through September. The Belgian calendar creates specific occasions where an open-top Rolls-Royce becomes not merely pleasurable but contextually correct: the Knokke-le-Zoute coastal programme in July, the Spa-Francorchamps paddock approach in August, the evening canal circuit at Bruges in May, or the Ardennes ridge road from Liège to La Roche-en-Ardenne in September.
For weddings: the Dawn is FFGR Belgium's most requested vehicle for bridal arrival at Belgium's country château properties. The combination of an open-top Rolls-Royce and a Belgian summer afternoon — at a property like Château de la Hulpe or Château de Namur — is the image that appears in most wedding editorial features involving Belgium.
For the Brussels-Bruges evening programme: depart Brussels at 17:30 by Dawn (roof down, if weather permits), arrive Bruges via the E40 as the sun crosses the canal water at the Rozenhoedkaai, dinner at one of Bruges' Michelin tables, return to Brussels by Rolls-Royce Ghost (closed — the evening is cooler). This is one of FFGR Belgium's most requested summer evening programmes.
Dawn hire rates: from €1,100/day with chauffeur. Airport transfer by Dawn: from €390 (Brussels Airport to city centre, seasonal).
